I thought I would give a little rambling update on where I’ve been, where the reviews are, and what am I even doing right now. I should be reading!
Well, first there was the flowers. We planted them and then the deer ate them… that’s right all my pretty blooms off my phlox are gone. SIGH…
Then, LM wanted to build a volcano, so we did this:
Yes, folks, that’s a slime volcano with prehistoric dinosaurs. Sadly they became extinct after our slime volcano erupted colored vinegar and baking soda.
Finally, there was:
Hubby is around and I had some pictures of us but couldn’t share since he’s in uniform. My hot cop has been busy working hard. We’ve had some obstacles that we have had to tackle, but I know it’s all good. Just changes LOL. That said, I was removed from typing on a computer at night because I wanted to snuggle with him instead. So I’ve read, and wrote, just haven’t posted.
If you are an author reading this, I’m sorry in advance. I know you rely on blogs to get the word out, but family first, always. This is my update to say, I’m here! I am starting with a new review on Wednesday. It’s an ARC I had agreed to read a long time ago. Then I will be going through all my handwritten posts and getting them scheduled.
If you have emailed me about a read request, that’s next on my to-do list. Hopefully, you heard from me last night, if not, you will by Wednesday evening.
June and July are going to be limited for reading. It’s just we have a lot going on as a family, and I don’t want to over-commit. If I have already agreed on something, then no worries, we are still good. If I haven’t odds are I’m not going to be able to.
I feel there is a lot more to say, but I can’t think of it at the moment. I blame the exhaustion from shoveling 3/4 of a ton of gravel and laying pavers from the picture above. My brain is wiped out. Good news, pavers are done and the pool is open! Bad news, I’m sleepy writing this on the fly to y’all.
Thank you to the authors who are patient and understanding. You all have made this scatter moment of my life, feel normal. Big thanks to the hubby for making my live reviews hilarious, and keeping the scotch full. He knows the way to my heart.
peace out girl scouts
